Ingredients:
| 1 | 9" frozen pie shell, thawed | 1 |
| PAMŪ Original No-Stick Cooking Spray | ||
| 1 | Medium onion, chopped | 1 |
| 1 | Clove garlic, minced | 1 |
| 1 | 10 ounce package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry | 1 |
| 1 cup | Egg BeatersŪ Original | 250 mL |
| 1 cup | Skim milk | 250 mL |
| 1 tbsp | All-purpose flour | 15 mL |
| 1 tsp | Dried basil leaves | 5 mL |
| 3/4 tsp | Hot pepper sauce (optional) | 4 mL |
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). Lightly prick entire pie shell with fork. Bake 5 minutes, or until lightly browned; set aside. Reduce oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Spray a medium skillet with cooking spray; heat over medium heat. Add onion and garlic; cook and stir 4 minutes, or until tender. Add spinach; mix well. Spoon into crust.
- Combine Egg Beaters, milk, flour, basil and hot pepper sauce. Add salt and pepper if desired. Pour over spinach mixture.
- Bake 50 minutes or until knife inserted into center comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting into 6 slices.
